Acer has announced Iconia Tab 7 tablet at the New York event along with the Iconia One 7. The Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-713HD comes with a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS anti-fingerprint display, powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8382 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.

Acer has also launched the Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 that comes with a with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, 2-megapixel rear camera and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to Android 4.4 in future. Other specifications of the tablet would be similar. Both these tablets would come with 3G support via SIM card slot and has anodized silver finish.

The The Acer Iconia Tab 7 would go on sale in Europe, Middle East and Africa in middle of May starting at 149 Euros (Rs. 12400 approx).
