Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab S series in India as it promised last week. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 were announced last month and comes with a 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Super AMOLED displays at WQXGA resolution with Adaptive Display for automatic adjustment, 90% of Adobe RGB color coverage for accurate color output, powered by Octa-Core Exynos (A15 1.9 GHz ＋ A7 1.3 GHz) processor and runs Android 4.4 (KitKat).

These have a built-in Fingerprint Scanner, Kids’ Mode with own dedicated interface, Ultra-Power Saving Mode, Call Forwarding feature via SideSync 3.0, Group Play, S-Note, S Translator, Samsung Link, Scrapbook, Story Album, Quick Connect to connect to nearby devices for content sharing and more. Both these have voice calling capabilities and 3G connectivity.
It comes with Galaxy Gifts Widget that offers 30 premium apps for free, 100 free HD movies on myPlex and 21 Indian magazine subscription on Magzter for 3 months.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 would be available in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White colors and are priced at Rs. 37,800 and Rs. 44,800 respectively. These tablets would go on sale across India from the second week of July. Samsung also plans to launch the LTE version of these tablets in India soon. As an introductory offer, Galaxy Tab S consumers will get 9 GB of 3G / 2G data from Reliance. Those who pre-book the Tab S between 1st to 11th July through eStore or outlets would get a free book cover accessory.
