Apple has finally started sending out invitations for their September 9 event, which has been rumored for quite some time now. The action will take place in Cupertino and the company is expected to announce at least one new iPhone.
The invite doesn’t give too much details away. It carries a tagline “wish we could say more” which gives us a hint that Apple might introduce more products along with their next generation iPhone.
Tim Cook, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer has said that the company would break into a new product category this year and it is speculated that Apple will be stepping into the wearable space. Apple’s alleged iWatch has been making its rounds in the rumor land for more than a year now and the Cupertino giants might finally announce it. The event is also expected to spread some light on the iOS and OS X updates among other things.
We have been hearing about two iPhone models with different screen sizes – 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches, so it will be interesting to see if the company showcases both the variants.
The event is just about 10 days away, so the wait is not going to be that long. As usual, you can depend on us to bring you all the latest news from the event. So, stay tuned when the time comes.
