Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 expected to launch in India soon for Rs. 7999

Samsung would launch the Galaxy S Duos 3 (SM-G313HU), successor of the S Duos 2 in India soon, according to the Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom who has the smartphone in stock for Rs. 7,999. It would be priced at an MRP of Rs. 8,590. The Galaxy S Duos 3 is the Dual SIM 3G version of the Galaxy Ace 4 that was unveiled back in June, so it has similar specifications including a 4-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz Essence UI, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.

Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT smartphones in India back in July. As the name suggests, it comes with dual SIM support and has leather-like back cover. Even though RAM and internal storage are not mentioned in the retail box, it is expected to come with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage with expansion slot, similar to the 3G variant of the Galaxy Ace 4. The Galaxy S Duos 2 had 768MB RAM.
