Following the footsteps of the ever expanding Xiaomi, OPPO has announced four phones for the Australian market. It is worthy to note that this is the first time that OPPO has launched smartphones in the country.
The four phones for the Australian market are: OPPO Find 7 (QHD), Find 7a (FHD), N1 Mini and Neo 5. The Find 7, Find 7a and N1 Mini are already quite popular in other parts of the world where OPPO operates, but the Neo 5 is a sort of a fresh addition.
OPPO has been aggressive in markets outside of its home country. With marketing in full flow, OPPO has even sponsored a couple of new Indian TV shows including the upcoming Champions League T20, so the company sure knows where to put its money.
We want to offer groundbreaking approach to mobile devices, to show high-end phones don’t have to cost a fortune. We have a huge amount of devices in the pipeline,
– Michael Tran, head of marketing, OPPO
Coming back to the launch in Australia, the devices — Find 7, Find 7a, N1 Mini and Neo 5 — are priced AU$719, AU$629, AU$539 and AU$219 respectively. The devices can be bought over at OPPO’s official mobile store in Australia.
