Samsung announced the Galaxy Note Edge at IFA 2014 along with the Note 4. The phone has a 5.6 inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display that bends on the right side that utilizes 160 pixels and gives you access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality even when the cover is closed with the swipe of a thumb.
The Note Edge is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 174 grams and has only few features different than the Note 4.
The device is tall but is sleek in design and the curved screen slopes down on the right side by wrapping it.
At the back we have the Samsung logo and boasts of the same soft touch back. In addition, there is the 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, OIS with flash and below the camera we have Finger Scanner, UV, Heart Rate Monitoring.
The front of the phone has 3.7 camera along 120 degree wide angle lens for selfies.
On the left side we can see the volume rocker buttons.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes in Frost white and Charcoal black colors and would launch at the end of the year in selected markets. No word on pricing yet.
