HP has introduced two new Chromebooks in 11 inch and 14 inch model. The Chromebook 11 updates the existing HP Chromebook 11 longer battery life and a colorful new look.
It has a 11.6 inch HD display and is powered by an Intel Celeron N2830 with either 2 or 4GB RAM. Other specs include 16GB storage, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, HDMI out, a 36 Whr battery, Wifi 802.11ac or 802.11n, Bluetooth and optional LTE/HSPA connectivity. Priced at $279.99, the 11 inch Chromebook is expected to be available in the United States on Oct. 5. It will be available in Ocean Turquoise, Snow White or Twinkle Black.
HP also announced 14 inch Chromebook that is powered by Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, which promises better graphics performance. It has a 14 inch HD Full display while other specs include 2 or 4GB RAM, 16GB storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, optional LTE/HSPA, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI out. The HP Chromebook 14 available in Smoke Silver, Sorbet Orange, Ocean Turquoise or Neon Green later that month for $299.99.
Yesterday, Toshiba announced 13.3 inch Chromebook 2 that starts $299 while Acer launched Chromebook 13 last month that costs $279.
