Huawei launched the Ascend G7 along with Ascend Mate 7 at IFA, Berlin 2014. The mid range device from Huawei is a slim phone with narrow bezels. It measures 7.6mm thick and weighs 165 grams.

The phone sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen in-cell touch-sensitive screen. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0. The phone also offers various customizations and allows users to download 30 different themes and more are on the way. They can also change the transparency color for each window, making a phone that’s uniquely their own.
At the top there is the Huawei logo along with speakers and the 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies.
The back has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and bears the Huawei logo in the middle. Metal back does gives a premium look to otherwise mid ranged device.
At the bottom rear back we have the loudspeaker and the micro USB port.
Huawei has crowded the right hand side of the phone with the volume rockers, power button along with SIM card and micro USB card slot.
While the left side of the phone is plain with no buttons and the top has the 3.5mm audio jack.
It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 3000 mAh battery.
The Huawei Ascend G7 comes in silver, grey and golden colors and is priced at 250 Euros (US$325 / Rs. 19,630 approx.) It will be available Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands Turkey, Poland, Norway, South Africa and Mexico from September 2014 with other markets to follow.
