Back in July Asus announced that the combined sales of the Zenfone series reached 40,000 in just four days after the launch. Zenfone sales crossed 1 lakh by the end of August, now the company has announced that it will surpass 2 lakh by the end of Q3 2014, which is September end.
After launching three Zenfone smartphones, Asus launched the Zenfone 4 A450CG, a budget smartphone at a competitive price tag of Rs. 6999 earlier this month. These new Asus Zenfone smartphones are giving a tough competition to other smartphones right from the budget range to mid range.
Regarding the Zenfone stocks, Asus said,
With an attainable aim to be amongst the top 10 smartphone providers this year and top 5 by 2015, the company is constantly filling in the stocks to ascertain sufficient supply. 20,000 Zenfone 5 units were brought in earlier today on Flipkart and were sold out within few hours of being available. The company is constantly acting in order to meet the demand and also to cater to all their requirements with the firmware updates.
