Microsoft has sent out invites for an event on October 1st, tomorrow for a press event in India. The invite doesn’t reveal anything, but the Lumia 830, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone and the Lumia 730 Dual SIM, its first selfie-centric smartphone are expected to launch tomorrow in India. Nokia India has started teasing some new device on Twitter with a selfie images, so Lumia 730 is likely to launch at the event tomorrow.
The Nokia Lumia 830 that was unveiled earlier this month packs a 10-megapixel PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and ZEISS optics, 5-inch HD ClearBlack IPS-LCD curved glass display, powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update. The Lumia 730 Dual SIM that was unveiled along with the Lumia 735 has a 5-megapixel wide angle front-facing camera with a focal length of 24mm to capture better selfies and for video chats, 4.7-inch HD ClearBlack OLED display, powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update, 6.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, up to 128GB expandable memory with microSD and a 2220mAh battery.
