Few months after introducing the 3200 mAh DC-19 portable charger, Microsoft has introduced DC-21, a 6000mAh portable charger that it calls Microsoft Portable Power. It weighs 145 grams, almost double the weight of the DC-19, but the rounded cylindrical makes it compact. Unlike the previous Nokia chargers, this has Microsoft branding.
It promises to charge 80 percent capacity in about three hours, and 100 percent in about four hours. Even after six months, the Microsoft Portable Power will have 80 percent of power since it goes into automatic standby mode. It has soft LED lights that tell you how much charging capacity is left. It can be charged using standard micro USB chargers, and it need 4 hours to be fully chargerd.
The Microsoft Portable Power DC-21 comes in white, bright green and bright orange colors and is priced at 39 Euros / US$49 / Rs. 3000 (approx.). It would go on sale starting this October.
