HTC launched the Desire 820 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 24990. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Desire 820 is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.54 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.0 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU. The Desire 820 has a 5.5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the Desire 816 that has a Snapdragon 400 processor.

It clocked 59.9 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex Onscreen benchmark, the Desire 820 clocked 25.8fps and grabs the top spot, way ahead of other smartphones.
GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan (On screen)
It clocked 11.8fps in the GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan Onscreen benchmark and lies behind the new Moto X.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
The Desire 820 topped the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark too by clocking around 16fps.

It scored whopping 732 points and lies ahead of other smartphones with Octa-Core processors.
