Gionee launched the Elife S5.1, the company’s thinnest smartphone in India recently for Rs. 18,999. We recently brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a 1.66 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 8 ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs and is based on 28nm HPM. It has Mali 450-MP4 GPU, comes with 1GB RAM, 4.8-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Amigo UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark results below.

Quadrant Benchmark
It managed to score 13806 points in Quadrant benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
It managed to score 27217 points in the AnTuTu 4 Benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It grabs the second spot, better than most other octa-core smartphones in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmarks.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
Again it grabs the second spot, this time behind the Elife S5.5 by scoring 726 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal benchmark.
Linpack Single Thread
It clocked around 146 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock around 303.9 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It topped the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark by clocking 61.8 fps.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It topped the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark too, by clocking 16.5 fps.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 7.95fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark and grabs the top spot.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
In the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark, the Elife S5.1 managed to clock around 4.73 fps, while the Elife S5.5 is at the top.
Basemark OS II
It topped the Basemark OS II benchmark by scoring 637 points. Synthetic benchmark scores are good for the Elife S5.1, but the real life performance might be different. We will let you know about that in the complete review soon.
