YouTube is gearing up to add support for 360 degree videos, according to a new report from Gizmodo. Google has revealed to the publication that the 360 degree video feature will hit YouTube in coming weeks.
Currently no other information about how the company plans to implement the feature on YouTube. A 360 degree video is taken only by using a camera that supports the feature. Giroptic, makers of what it claims to be the world’s first 360-degree full HD camera, told The Verge that its 360 camera will be the first of its kind to be supported natively by YouTube.
