Samsung launched the Galaxy E5 smartphone in India for Rs 19,300 earlier this month. The phone has a uni-body design and is another device from company’s E series of smartphone. We have already seen the unboxing of the phone, now lets take a look at the hardware of the phone in this photo gallery.
The Galaxy E5 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. Running on Android KitKat 4.4.4, it has a 1.5GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and expandable up to 64GB with microSD.
The phone has a 5MP front facing camera along with the proximity and ambient light sensors.
At the bottom, the phone has a the traditional home button that is seen on Samsung devices along with the capacitive touch buttons on either sides.
On the right side of the phone there are primary nano SIM slot, a hybrid SIM / microSD slot and a power button.
The volume rockers are present on the left side. The phone measures 141.6 x 70.2 x 7.3mm.
Micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and primary microphone are situated at the bottom.
At the back, the phone has 8MP camera with LED flash on the left and loudspeaker grill on the right side. The Duos branding is also seen at below. It weighs just 120 grams.
The Galaxy E5 comes with one nano SIM card slot while the second slot can either be used for secondary SIM or micro SD (Up to 64 GB).
The Galaxy E5 has a 2400mAh built-in battery and supports connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS. It is available in Black, White and Brown colors.
