Xiaomi announced the Mi Note last month in China. The flagship smartphone from the company is priced at 2299 Chinese Yuan for the 16GB variant and the 64GB variant costs 2799 Chinese Yuan . We brought you unboxing and first impressions of the smartphone recently, here we have the photo gallery.
The Mi Note has a 5.7-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display from JDI with just 0.3mm bezel on the sides and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. Running MIUI on top of Android 4.4 (KitKat) it has 3GB RAM and comes in 16 or 64 GB memory variants.
It has a 4MP front-facing camera with large 2-micron pixels, similar to HTC Ultrapixel camera, along with earpiece and proximity sensor. The Mi branding is also present on the left corner.
It has three capacitive touch buttons for menu, home and back.
The power and volume button on are present on the right side and have metal build.
The micro SIM card slot is present on the left side and being a dual SIM phone it supports Micro and nano SIM cards. The phone is 6.95mm thick and weighs 161 grams
On the top we can see the 3.5mm audio jack, secondary microphone along with plastic bands for better antenna reception.
The micro USB port and loud-speaker grill is present at the bottom.
At the back the Mi Note has a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording.
The Mi branding is also present in the back cover.
The phone has a non-removable back cover that has a 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Mi Note has a 3000mAh built-in battery and supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE , WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It has ESS ES9018K2M chip with 192kHz / 24bit studio-quality audio decoding and TI’s OPA1612 amplifier for better audio output. The phone is available in black and white colors. Still no details about global roll out of the phone.
