Meizu, one of the popular Chinese smartphone makers has announced that it is all set to enter the Indian market. On Twitter the company said Greetings to all the #Meizu fans in India. We are coming! It has also linked its Facebook page in the tweet. The company doesn’t have a dedicated webpage for India yet.

Since it has already started teasing its M1 Note on its Facebook page, this might be the first smartphone to launch in India. The Meizu M1 Note was unveiled as Blue Charm Note in China. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek processor, Android 4.4 KitKat with Flyme OS 4 on top, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 69-degree wide viewing angle, 2G RAM, comes in 16GB or 32GB memory, 4G LTE support and a 3140mAh battery.
Meizu joins the recent Chinese entrants Xiaomi and vivo in India. Xiaomi chose online-only route by partnering with Flipkart. Meizu is also expected to partner with an e-commerce company in India to sell its smartphones.
