Lenovo officially announced A6000 Plus – a bumped up version of A6000 a couple of days ago. Today, we had a chance to play with the device for some time and here’s our hands-on report.
Lenovo A6000 Plus carries a similar design language as that of A6000. So, what does the ‘Plus’ tag bring to table? Well, the A6000 Plus has an increased operating RAM of 2GB over the single gig in the original model.
The upgraded version of A6000 also comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage as opposed to 8GB. The enhancement in the both the areas can easily be felt as there’s now more space for multimedia storage and also the multi-tasking experience has improved quite significantly.

The device sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. There’s an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front facing shooter to capture memories.
Lenovo A6000 Plus has dual-SIM card slot and the primary SIM supports Cat.4 LTE for up to 150Mbps download speeds. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and the juice for the smartphone comes from a 2,300mAh battery.
Lenovo A6000 Plus is priced at INR 7,499 ($120) and is available via flash sales on Flipkart. So, if you are planning to buy the A6000, you might want to reconsider your choice. The enhanced storage capability and RAM is definitely worth spending that extra INR 500 ($8).
