Oppo’s anticipated bezel-less smartphone dubbed Oppo R7 may have been out in a video before the official launch expected to be on May 20.
The alleged prototypes (see above) of Oppo R7 showcased in a video from Sina tech reveals the expected overall design in its full glory. The smartphone appears to sport an edge-to-edge display with a thin metal-rim covering on the sides. Not just that, the sides are also slightly curved, but nothing compared to Galaxy S6 Edge.
Rumour mill suggests that the R7 will include a fingerprint scanner and around 2000mAh battery. It will be among thinnest smartphones in the world measuring thickness less than 4.85mm. But since this is claimed to be the prototype developed by Oppo for R7, there may many changes in the final design.
The May 20 event is also rumoured to see the launch of Oppo R7 Max alongside Oppo R7. The R7 Max will reportedly be the premium device with a bigger battery and slightly bumped thickness.
