Motorola’s expected next flagship, the third generation of the Moto X’s purported specifications has been leaked online for the first time.
According to a report by STJS Gadgets on Tuesday, the alleged Moto X 3rd Gen specifications have been sourced from an insider of Motorola. The new Moto X is said to feature a 5.2-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display, which could very well be the same panel as Motorola’s Droid Turbo.
On the inside, Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen might feature the same hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC as seen on LG’s 2015 flagship G4, but coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The leaked specification also list 32GB or 64GB internal storage, which is the case with most flagship devices at present. The rear camera is said to be a 16-megapixel shooter with Clear Pixel Technology and the front-facing camera is expected to be a 5-megapixel shooter. Other than that, purported list of specifications notes that the Moto X 3rd Gen will run latest Android 5.1.1 OS and will be backed by a 3280mAh battery.
Though looking at the specifications we know it is definitely an upgrade to the existing Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen, but for now we will just treat this as rumours.
