Samsung’s next smartwatch that will have a round dial has been in the reports since the beginning of the year. Today, specifications of the Gear A smartwatch which is also known as Orbis has leaked.
The Gear A will have a circular display but the size is not known yet however it is expected to be 1.65 inch and will have 360×360 resolution Super AMOLED display. Previous rumors had said that the Orbis will feature Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 processor however the latest leak suggests a Exynos 3472 SoC with 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Orbis also has a rotating bezel around the display which can be used to scroll through lists or adjust certain settings

The Gear A is also said to support 3G and calling functionality and will also support NFC based mobile payment. Samsung is expected to announce the Gear A along with the Galaxy Note 5 on August 12.
