YU just announced that more than 100,000 units of YU YUPHORIA smartphones will be available in open sale on Amazon.in from July 21st to 23rd. The company said that it is making the biggest batch of phones available through this open sale. Yu already announced that the smartphone has been assembled in India.
To remind you, the YU YUPHORIA that was launched in May for Rs. 6,999 packs a 5-inch HD IPS display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot, 4G LTE support and a 2230mAh battery. It got a new incremental Cyanogen OS update recently for fixing proximity sensor issues, improve camera, keyboard, offer better thermal management and more.
