Motorola has reduced the price of both the 3G and 4G variants of the Moto E (2nd Gen) by Rs. 1000, These are now available for Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6999, respectively. Flipkart also offers Rs. 2000 off in exchange for old smartphones. Airtel users also get double data for two months on select recharge packs.  It is not clear if this is a limited period price cut.

Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) got a permanent price cut to Rs. 9999 in India recently, months after it received a Rs. 2000 price cut from the original launch price of Rs. 12,999. Both the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G and Moto G (2nd Gen) were selling at a discounted rate for limited period during the Big App Shopping Days sale last month.

The Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G has a more powerful Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, hence offers better performance compared to the 3G variant that has a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and also has 4G LTE support, so it is better to go for the 4G variant by spending Rs. 1000 more. You can get these smartphones on Flipkart.
