Elephone announced the P8000 in May and it was listed on Flipkart in June. The phone is all set to launch in India this month. We have already seen the unboxing of the phone and now let’s take a detailed look at the phone in this photo gallery.
The Elephone P8000 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) OGS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS and upgradable to Android M, the phone comes with 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD. At the front, the phone has earpiece the usual set of sensors and a 5MP front-facing camera.
There are three capacitive touch buttons on the bezel below the display.
The power/lock key and volume rockers are present on the right side of the phone.
Micro USB port and microphone is present at the bottom of the phone. The phone measures 155.2×76.6×9.2mm.
A 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top.
There is a 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, Samsung CMOS sensor at the back. A fingerprint sensor is present just below the camera.
Elephone logo is present on the removable back cover follower by the loudspeaker grill.
Two micro SIM card slots along with a micro SD card slot are present underneath the back cover. It has 4165mAh built in battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Elephone plans to launch the smartphone in India on August 9th.
