Micromax has partnered with MediaTek to introduce Canvas Fire 4G, the company’s latest smartphone in the Fire series, powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor. Micromax also announced that it will launch a device powered by the latest MediaTek Helio X10 SoC.
The Micromax Canvas Fire 4G will have a 4.5-inch display, run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), pack a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot, dual front-facing speakers and as the name suggests, 4G connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India. Micromax has not announced the pricing or availability of the smartphone yet.
