Lenovo unveiled the Vibe S1, the world’s first smartphone with dual selfie cameras at the IFA yesterday. We got to check out the smartphone at Lenovo event at IFA, here is the photo gallery of the selfie-focused smartphone.
The Vibe S1 has a 5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top.
It has a 8MP primary front camera with BSI sensor and a 2MP secondary front camera. Dual cameras will offer advanced depth of field for creative background options, including background blur, background swap and improved low-light results. according to Lenovo. The earpiece and the usual set of sensors are also present above the display.
The power button and the volume rockers are present on the right side. The phone measures 143.3×70.8×7.8 mm and weighs 132 grams.
There are dual nano SIM slots on the left side. It has 32GB of internal storage with expansion slot that accepts microSD cards up to 128GB. The smartphone has a rounded aluminium frame.
The secondary microphone and the 3.5mm audio jack are preset on the top.
The micro USB slot is present on the bottom along with loudspeaker and primary microphone.
On the back there is a 13-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus for quick focus.
Even the back has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a 2500mAh built-in battery under the back cover. It has a range of connectivity features such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Lenovo Vibe S1 comes in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colors. It will roll out globally starting from November starting at US$299 (Rs. 19800 approx.).
