YU YU5050, the company’s high-end smartphone that recently surfaced on Zauba and Geekbench revealed a 5.2-inch display, Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB RAM and Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Now it has surfaced on AnTuTu (Via) revealing a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, a 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and 32GB of internal storage.
It is expected to come in two versions, one with 3GB RAM and 1080p display, while the high-end version is expected to come with 4GB RAM and Quad HD display. The high-end version scored 64938 points and the other version scored 57242 points. The smartphone has been imported to India for testing for Rs. 20,295, so it could be priced under Rs. 25,000 when it launches.
YU is also expected to release YU4711 powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM that could be a cheaper variant of YUPHORIA. YU is expected to launch these smartphones and accessories such as Yu Yubic Bluetooth speaker and YUAPB1000, a 10000mAh power bank at its event tomorrow.
