Phicomm Passion 660 gets a price cut, now available for Rs. 8999

Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm entered India back in June with the launch of its Passion 660 smartphone for Rs. 10,999. Today the company has announced a Rs. 2,000 price cut for the smartphone, which will be available for Rs. 8,999 on Amazon.in starting from today. To remind you, the Passion 660 has a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Expect OS 5.0, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has unibody premium magnesium alloy build and 4G LTE support.

Hope the company would offer an upgrade to Android Lollipop soon, since it still runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), while most other competing smartphones were launched with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
