We brought you the review of the Motorola Moto X Play last week. Here we have its battery life test results. The Moto X Play packs a huge 3630mAh built-in battery, compared to 2300mAh battery on the Moto X 2nd Gen. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).
Talk Time
It lasted for 33 hours and 19 minutes in our talk time test.
3G Browsing
It lasted for 6 hours and 15 minutes in our 3G browsing test, which is better than most of the smartphones in the similar price range.
WiFi Browsing
Surprisingly, the smartphone lasted for the same 6 hours and 15 minutes in our WiFi browsing test, similar to the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
Video Playback
Finally, it lasted for 12 hours and 3 minutes and topped the video playback test.
It achieved an One Charge Rating of 14 hours and 42 minutes, which is mainly due to the brilliant talk time, but the smartphones performed well in other tests too. Check out our battery test procedure, to know more about our tests in detail.
