SanDisk announced the Connect Wireless Stick back in July, and it was launched in India in September. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server so that users can access files stored on the drive over multiple devices. It doesn’t have any extra contents in the box, apart from the Connect stick. The SanDisk Connect app allows you to access your content on iOS and Android devices over a password protected WiFi connection. The app that is available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone also lets you automatically copy photos and videos from your camera roll to the drive when the drive is connected.
There is a power button on the side. It measures 20.83 x 78.21 x 12.19mm. There is a USB 2.0 slot to connect to laptops, Macs or PCs to transfer media and also has a built-in battery that will keep the device running for around 4 and half hours if you are streaming videos continuously. You can Stream HD videos and music up to 3 devices at the same time. It uses WiFi 802.11n to transfer data.
The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities that are priced at Rs. 2,790, Rs. 3,790, Rs. 5,490 and Rs. 9,490, respectively.
