Sony has launched its flagship Xperia Z5 Dual smartphone in India, as it promised. It was announced at the IFA last month in Berlin last month and packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Sony G lens, Hybrid AF speed of 0.03s, 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera with EXMOR R sensor. It also has IPX5 / IPX8 ratings for dust and water resistance with cap-less USB.
As the name indicates, it comes with dual SIM support and has 4G LTE connectivity with support for LTE bands of India. It has fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, comes with Sony’s LDAC audio compression codec that promises high-quality wireless music playback and high-quality music experience. It has frosted glass on the back and the Xperia logo is engraved on the side.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual comes in Graphite Black, Gold and Green colors, is priced at Rs. 52,990 in India and will be available from October 23rd. It also comes with free smart cover worth Rs. 3500 that can be redeemed from Xperia Lounge, Sony Quick Charger (UCH10) in the box and app content over Rs. 4000.
