The Letv 1s is the successor of the Le 1smartphone that was introduced earlier this year. It has a 5.5-inch full HD in-cell display with 500nits brightness, which is bright. It is powered an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795T) processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with its own EUI 5.5 on top. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front with Samsung S5K5E2 sensor and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
The smartphone has a uni-body metal design that offers a premium look and feels solid in hand. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back with 360 identification so that it can unlock by placing your finger in any angle. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that can focus an object in just 0.09 seconds, LED flash ISOCELL sensor and supports 4K recording at 30fps and 720p at 120 fps.
There is a SIM card slot on the left side that has micro SIM and a nano SIM slot. It also has 4G LTE connectivity. The smartphone is just 7.5mm and weighs 169 grams since it has a metal body. It has 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of (eMMC5.0) internal storage, but it doesn’t have a microSD expansion slot.
It has a USB 2.0 Type-C slot on the bottom and powerful speakers on the bottom with support for Dirac HD audio technology and Dolby audio.
It also has a infrared sensor on the top, along with a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a 3000mAh built-in battery with fast charging support. The Letv Le 1s comes in Gold color and is priced at 1099 RMB that converts to about Rs. 11,200 approximately, which is good considering the features and the metal build. It will go on sale in China from November 3rd, but the company did not announce when it plans to launch it globally. The Chinese company recently announced its plans to enter India sometime early 2016, so there are chances for it to launch the Le 1s first.
