Samsung is working on a 7 inch variant of their Galaxy Tab E and the specifications have surfaced online. It will also include a Tab E Lite version which will be directed specifically for kids.
The Galaxy Tab E 7.0 with model number SM-T280/T285 will come with 7 inch displays with 1280×800 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 1.5GHz processor as well as 1.5GB of RAM. It will also have 8GB of internal memory and 4G LTE connectivity. We aren’t sure if it will support a nanoSIM or microSIM though.
It will be available in a Black colour variant and possibly White and even other colours. There will also be a Tab E Lite SM-T113 which is a kids version of the same tablet. It should have a more kid friendly design with a Kids Mode feature out of the box. It should also have a kid friendly design with more protection against drops and even a lively colour scheme. We aren’t sure if this model will retain the 4G LTE connectivity feature or not.
