Samsung launched the Galaxy A5 (2016) smartphone last month for Rs. 29,400. We recently brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and camera samples, here we have the battery life test results of the smartphone. It packs a 2900mAh built-in battery with support for Samsung’s adaptive fast charging that can charge the phone fully in about an hour. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by 1.6GHz Octa Core Exynos 7580 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

It lasted for 20 hours and 3 minutes in our Talk Time test.
3G Browsing
It lasted for 6 hours and 41 minutes in our 3G browsing test and topped the chart.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for 11 hours and 9 minutes in our WiFi Browsing test, again topping the chart.
Video Playback
It lasted for 14 hours and 11 minutes in our Video Playback test.
