Earlier this week live images of Huawei’s upcoming P9 smartphone with dual rear cameras surfaced. Now the press shots of the smartphone have surfaced in China. This reveals the smartphone’s slim profile, it’s metal body, power button, volume rockers and SIM slot located on the right side.
The P9 is expected to come in 3 variants and also with a larger screen, which will be called P9 Max. The entry-level variant is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 650, pack 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The standard variant is expected to be powered by Kirin 950 SoC, pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the high-end could be powered by Kirin 955 SoC, pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
According to the latest rumor, the P9 Max is expected to be similar to the high-end version of the P9, but it will come with a 6-inch Quad HD screen, even though @evleaks had said the company will be sticking to 1080p display in order to control the battery life.

The Huawei P9 and P9 Max are rumored to come in gold, white, pink and grey colors and are expected to be unveiled at an event in Beijing on March 9th. According to the report, the base version will cost 1888 yuan (US$ 289 / Rs. 19,450 approx.) and the P9 Max will be priced at 4088 yuan ( US$ 627 / Rs. 42,100 approx.).
