Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S7 edge smartphone in India last week priced at Rs. 56,900. We already brought you the hands-on impressions of the S7 edge from the MWC last month, here we have the unboxing.

The S7 edge has a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on curved edge display, slightly larger than the 5.1-inch Quad HD screen on the S7. It is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor and has 4GB of RAM. Running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), it has a 5-megapixel camera on the front with f/1.7 aperture.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button. It has IP68 ratings water and dust resistance and hybrid dual SIM support that lets you use the second slot as a expansion slot when required. It is currently available only in 32GB variant in India and also comes in Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colors. It is just 7.7mm thick and weighs 157 grams.
The back has glass finish and houses a 12-megapixel Dual pixel camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, OIS and supports 4K video recording. It also has a heart rate sensor and has a 3600mAh built-in battery with support for wired and wireless fast charging. The smartphone is available for pre-order on official site and Flipkart and ships from March 18th.
