Nokia have announced two more models to its X Series of mobile phones at the Nokia Connection event in Singapore. The phones announced are the X5-01 and the X6 8GB.
The Nokia X5-01 is a chubby-squarish QWERTY slider. It has a screen with landscape orientation. It’s features include:
- 74.3 x 66.4 x 16.8 mm, 129 grams
- 2.36″ Screen with QVGA (320*240) Resolution
- Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2
- QWERTY Keyboard
- Accelerometer, 3.5mm Audio Jack
- 200MB Internal Memory, micro-SD Card Slot supporting upto 32GB (2GB Included)
- GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, micro-USB 2.0
- 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash and Video Recording
- Yellow Green, Purple, Pink, Azure and Graphite Black Colours
It has dedicated Music Keys and Nokia says it’s sound quality is excellent.
The X5-01 has some very unique features as well. Spinning the phone lets you randomly change the track. Shaking the phone will show you the unread message.
It is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2010 at an approximate price of 165 Euros before subsidies and taxes.
After the original X6 came the X6 16GB and now comes the X6 8GB. the only difference is the internal memory and well the price too. It is also set to release in the third quarter of 2010 at a price of 225 Euros before subsidies and taxes.
