Google is out with Android distribution numbers for the month of May. Android Marshmallow is now present on 10.1% of all Android devices, up from 7.5% since last month.
Lollipop adoption has also reduced to 35.4% from 35.6% and is still the version of Android with the most installs. KitKat has decreased from 32.5% in May to 31.6% in June while Jelly Bean went down from 20.1% 18.9% in the same period. Ice Cream Sandwich has dropped from 2.0% to 1.9% while Gingerbread went down from 2.2% to 2.0%.Finally, Froyo is still present on just 0.1% of all Android devices.
These numbers are compiled from Android devices that accessed the Play Store in a seven-day period ending on June 6.
