A number of leaks and rumors have already tipped most of the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Now a new leaked screenshot is suggesting that the Galaxy Note 7 will sport an iris scanner.
The screenshot of beta firmware belonging to the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program has leaked on Weibo. It reveals a settings page shows three option to authenticate identity – your fingerprint, PIN and iris scanner. The latest screenshot surfaces only days after a Zauba listing showed “Iris cam” modules to be used “for Samsung mobile” in India.
Samsung is said to go directly with Galaxy Note 7 instead of Note 6 this year. The phone which is tipped to be announced in August this year is expected to come with a 5.8-inch QHD curved display, 6GB RAM, 4000mAh battery and USB Type C. It could sport 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera used in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones with IR autofocus.
