Idea Cellular has slashed its Internet rates and will offer more data on 2G, 3G and 4G data packs to their customers. Looks like all the Indian operators are slashing data rates to compete with Reliance Jio that is said to launch next month with attractive packs.
Idea internet users will now get 45% more data on 2G, 3G and 4G data sachet packs which have data usage below 1 GB. Idea offers sachet packs starting from Rs. 8 and it goes up to Rs. 225.
With this new offer, a 2G data pack which is priced at Rs. 19 will now offer 110 MB of data with a validity of 3 days. Previously the same pack offered only 75 MB 2G data.
Customers using 3G/4G data packs will now get 90 MB 3G data with a validity of 3 days for Rs. 22 instead of 65 MB.

The revised data packs are available across all the Idea circles starting today. However, the pricing and benefits may vary depending on the circle.
