Google has announced update to Google Photos which aims at making photo sharing much easier. It has also added a new feature that automatically collects photos with similar content and creates slideshow movies.

First up, when you click the share button on Photo you will be able to select the people you want to share with, instead of selecting the app. If your friends are on Google Photos, they’ll get a notification and if you share via phone number, they will get a link to the photos and videos via SMS while email addresses will get an email with a link from Google Photos. This help users save time from toggling between apps to share photos.
Secondly, Google Photos will now make new movies that are “based on creative concepts”. For example it will create a movie dubbed “They Grow Up So Fast,” based on your child’s growth provided those photos are present in your device. Prior to the update, Photos was able to create unique videos using your recently uploaded photos and videos.
Google said it will roll out more concepts for movies this week. The latest updates are rolling out today across Android, iOS, and the web.
