Xiaomi today introduced Mi Air Purifier Pro, successor of the company’s Mi Air Purifier 2 that was introduced last year and was launched in India recently. This third generation air purifier from Xiaomi is slightly larger than the compact second-generation model, measuring just 260mm x 735mm, but this is more powerful.
It also has a new OLED display to accurate display real-time air quality and working conditions. It can also automatically adjust brightness to view clearly sen in the daytime. The display shows green, orange, and red LED ring that automatically changes color depending on air quality.
It offers up to 500m/h particles CADR values, improvement of 61% compared to last generation. It can be used to purify air up to 60 square meters indoor area, compared to 37 square meters in the previous generation.
In addition to Temperature and humidity sensor and Air quality sensor, it also has a new laser particle sensor that can accurately up to 0.3μm diameter particles. It has WiFi 802.11n that lets you control the device using Mi Home app, schedule it to power on, power off, switch to Night mode, and more.
The Mi Air Purifier Pro is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 221 / Rs. 14,770 approx.), slightly costly compared to the previous generation model. It will go on sale in China from November 11th.
