Google acquires cloud training startup Qwiklabs

Google has acquired cloud training startup Qwiklabs.  provides hands-on lab learning environments for leading cloud platforms and infrastructure software vendor. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Over half a million users have collectively spent over 5 million hours learning cloud technology through our platform on Qwiklabs since its inception in 2o12.

Qwiklabs wrote in a blog post,

We plan to continue to offer lab learning credits and subscriptions for sale on Qwiklabs.com. Owners of existing credits and subscriptions continue to enjoy the same access to our library of hands-on labs. Our partners who deliver instructor-led training sessions and events can continue to do so.
