Reliance Jio introduced JioFi 3 hotspot, successor of the JioFi 2 back in September. This features an OLED display and also comes with a new packing that is cylindrical. We recently got one, check out the unboxing.

The JioFi 3 that has an OLED display that shows the battery life, signal strength and WiFi status.
It has a power button and WPS button on the right side.
The micro USB port is present on the left side.
Opening the back cover reveals a 2600mAh battery which should be removed to insert a nano SIM card. It also has a microSD card slot. It has support for 3 (1800 MHz), 5 (850 MHz) and 40 (TD 2300 MHz) for Jio.
It has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n support, similar to the predecessor and lets you connect up to 31 WiFi-enabled devices and a device through USB cable. Similar to the JioFi 2, you can make voice and video calls even on a 2G/3G phone by installing Jio4GVoice (JioJoin previously) app and connecting it to the hotspot over WiFi.
The JioFi 3 is priced at Rs. 2700 (MRP), but you can get it from official aJio website and Amazon.in for Rs. 1,999 (MOP). It is also available from Flipkart at a slightly higher price.
