Huawei Honor brand today introduced Honor 8 Lite, a cheaper version of last year’s flagship Honor 8 smartphone in Finland. The main difference is that this has a 12-megapixel single rear camera instead of dual 12-megapixel rear cameras on the Honor 8. This also comes with a less powerful Kirin 655 processor, similar to the Honor 6X instead of Honor 8’s Kirin 950 SoC, but this runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 out of the box.
Other specifications are the same including 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, fingerprint sensor on the glass back, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, slim body with metal frame and a 3000mAh battery. Even though this weighs slightly less than the Honor 8, it is a bit bigger.
