Reliance Jio has finally added new smart download option to its JioMusic and JioCinema that lets you schedule movie or music downloads during Jio Happy hours (2AM to 5 AM) when no data charges apply.
In addition to standard ‘download now’ option, you also get a new ‘Smart Download’ option in these apps. All you need to do is keep your phone and LTE data ON at night, content you have scheduled will be downloaded automatically.
Reliance Jio reduced free data limit per day from 4GB to 1GB from this year as a part of Happy New Year Offer, but it still offers unlimited 4G night data from 2 to 5AM. This new feature will be more useful to claim that free data.
In addition to the new smart download feature, these JioMusic and JioCinema have received some minor bug fixes and performance improvements. You can update your JioMusic and JioCinema for Android to check out these new features. iOS app has not received the feature yet.
