Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India last month starting Rs. 9999. Only the Gold and Dark Gray colors were available so far through flash sales on Flipkart and mi.com. Xiaomi has announced that the Black version will be available for sale for the first time on both the platform on March 1st at 12PM along with the other color variants, as it had promised. Expect a huge demand as usual since it is the first time the new color variant is going on sale in the country.

Last month Xiaomi said that it sold over 2,50,000 units of Redmi Note 4 units in just 10 minutes on both Flipkart and Mi.com in the first sale, which is more than 3x and 5x quantity of the first sale of Redmi 3S and Redmi Note 3, respectively.
To remind you, the Redmi Note 4 packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, similar to the Redmi Note 3, but this is powered by a an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC, instead of Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor on the Redmi Note 3. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with MIUI 8 top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has brushed metal body with chamfered edges, hybrid dual SIM support, fingerprint sensor on the back, 4G LTE connectivity along with support for VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and packs a 4100mAh battery.
