Last week Reliance Jio said that it will withdraw Jio Summer Surprise offer that as advised by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The offer was announced Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries last month to avail same benefits as Happy New Year offer till June 2017 for recharge of Rs. 303 or more.
It also confirmed that all customers who have subscribed to Jio Summer Surprise offer prior to its discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer.
Now the company has announced that it will be updating its tariff packs soon and will be introducing more exiting offers. These offers could be announced this week for Jio Prime subscribers and start from April 16th.
Last month Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to re-examine issues relating to the approval granted to the Reliance Jio’s free promotional offer and apprise it of the “outcome and findings of the examination” within two weeks.
