It looks like it is going to take few more weeks until Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby is rolled out in the US. A latest report from the Wall Street Journal says, support for English language on Samsung’s highly anticipated digital assistant is delayed again.
The assistant is finding it difficult to comprehending English syntax and grammar and hence the report says the launch has been delayed till late June. Bixby has been available in Korea since the smartphone shipped in April. Both the flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+ come with a dedicated Bixby button, but it is designed to work across a range of Samsung products. It comes with the option of a male or a female voice as per the user’s preference.
Bixby is Samsung’s attempt to take on the likes of Siri, Google Assistant, Cortana and Alexa.
