Xiaomi has released the list of 14 smartphones that will get Android Nougat update. The list includes 10 smartphones that will get Android 7.0 update and four smartphones that will get Android 7.1 update. Most of these smartphones were released running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
List of Xiaomi devices that are confirmed to receive the Android 7.0 (Nougat) update:
- Xiaomi Mi Max
- Xiaomi Mi 5
- Xiaomi Mi 5s
- Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus
- Xiaomi Mi 4c
- Xiaomi Mi 4s
- Xiaomi Mi Note
- Xiaomi Mi Note 2
- Xiaomi Mi Mix
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X (Redmi Note 4 in India)
List of Xiaomi devices that are confirmed to receive the Android 7.1 (Nougat) update:
- Xiaomi Mi 6
- Xiaomi Mi Max 2
- Xiaomi Mi 5c
- Xiaomi Redmi 4X (Redmi 4 in India)
This list doesn’t include the latest Mi Pad 3 tablet, most popular Redmi Note 3 that got updated from Lollipop to Marshmallow last year and most of the popular budget Redmi smartphones like Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime and Redmi 4A. This list is only for China so it is not clear if the global variants of these phones would also get the update. We also don’t know the time frame of the roll out of Nougat update for these devices.
